Ultra-short

Next spring, designers will once again be showcasing ultra-short lengths on the catwalks, so it’s worth getting your legs ready now. What’s more, brands are not distinguishing between skirts and shorts. Pierpaolo Picciolli, for example, showed a snow-white dress covering the hips in Valentino’s spring/summer 2020 collection, while Saint Laurent and Chanel showed how to wear micro-shorts.

The 1970s were one of the most versatile decades in fashion, and designers continue to draw inspiration from them. Next spring, they will give us the opportunity to reminisce about the single-breasted waistcoats that were so popular back then. They go perfectly with flared pants and midi skirts and are sure to appeal to fans of bourgeois style.
